More than 18,000 women and girls play rugby regularly in England. Bishop Auckland Rugby Club is proud to have a number of girls teams on the field representing that figure. The benefits to young girls taking up the sport is vast, not only in terms of fitness but also for social skills, self esteem, confidence, leadership skills and not forgetting - to have fun!

The Girls' teams include all those under the age of 18 - at which point they would join our Ladies' Team. Girls under the age of 12 (School Year 7) would play alongside the boys in our Mini's Teams
