Our newly refurbished function room can hold up to 120 guests comfortably seated with the dance floor free for your guests to dance the night away. The room can accommodate 150 guests using the dance floor space and 250 guests when standing.

We cater for a wide variety of events and functions including; parties, meetings, weddings, charity events, boxing matches, presentation evenings, christenings and baby showers. Bishop Auckland Rugby Club also has another smaller room, perfect for more intimate events, our lounge room can hold 10 - 100 people.

We can take care of every detail of your event, from the food and linen to the balloons and cake. We have a trusted list of suppliers whom we can call in to add the finishing touches, take a look at our decor options below.

Facilities & Room Hire 

A deposit is required upon booking our function rooms in order to secure your date. This is fully refunded if the terms and conditions are met. The charge for wedding booking is £100 and £50 for all other events. 

Our function room has a projector and screen and access to our outdoor area, perfect for bouncy castles and inflatables. 

Why not have a marquee on the field for your special event? We can arrange for a marquee to be erected and decorated to your specifications including furnishing and a bar.

*If you’re considering hiring a bouncy castle we recommend hiring a castle no taller than 6ft to allow for it to fit in to the function room.

Camping facilities also available.

We can facilitate a three course menu with waiter service as well as buffets and bbq’s, please take a look at our menu options.

If you would like to provide your own catering or hire an external company there is a £75 charge for this. Please note we only allow Bishop Auckland Rugby Club catering for weddings.
